Hazelnut-Mushroom Pilaf

I created this to incorporate two of our favorites: hazelnuts and mushrooms. It combines rice, orzo pasta, and lots of goodies - very delicious!

Step: 1

Place a large skillet over medium-low heat. Melt butter, then saute rice, orzo, mushrooms, onion, and celery. Stir constantly until rice is lightly browned.

Step: 2

Mix in chicken broth, parsley, marjoram, pepper, and hazelnuts. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover skillet, and allow to simmer 15 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand 10 minutes before serving.

The most clear way to choose a side dish is to look at your main dish (pasta, chicken, seared tofu) and choose something different. If you’re cooking pasta, make sure for a simple vegetable . Making steak? Go for more light. If you’re want to cooking stir-fry with rice, it must not a good idea to adjust with make a rice salad.

This also can make to cooking method . You don’t want to push more often your oven by scheduling three dishes at once in there, or be rounding four pans on the stovetop . But sometimes you can made a dish do more often .
