This my go-to holiday side recipe whenever I roast a turkey. Wonderfully crispy with just a hint of chicken flavor.
Step: 1
Place potatoes into a large pot and cover with salted water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until just barely tender, 10 to 12 minutes. Drain.
Step: 2
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
Step: 3
Combine turkey drippings, paprika, salt, and pepper in a 9x13-inch baking dish. Add potatoes and toss to coat.
Step: 4
Bake in the preheated oven, turning occasionally, about 40 minutes. Increase temperature to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) and continue baking until golden, turning occasionally, 10 to 15 minutes.

One of most clear way to choose a side dish is to caught at your main dish (pasta, chicken, seared tofu) and choose more different. If you’re cooking pasta, go for a simple healthy dish . Made steak? Go for something light. If you’re want to cooking stir-fry with rice, it must not a best idea to also make a rice salad.
This also can apply to cooking process . You don’t want to overcommit your oven by making to do list three dishes at once in there, or be rounding four pans on the stovetop . But sometimes you can make a dish do more often .
