This is my Gram’s recipe for a cheese kugel - hence the name blintz (like cheese blintzes). It is very filling and does not last long at any occasion. You can use low-fat cheeses if you prefer. Serve it with sour cream if you like.
Step: 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Step: 2
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add egg noodles; cook, stirring occasionally, until noodles are tender yet firm to the bite, about 8 minutes. Drain.
Step: 3
Beat eggs and sugar together in a bowl until smooth, 1 to 2 minutes. Add cottage cheese, farmers cheese, sour cream, and melted butter; mix well to combine. Stir in noodles.
Step: 4
Spread noodle mixture in a 9x13-inch glass baking dish. Sprinkle corn flakes on top.
Step: 5
Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 40 minutes.

The most clear way to pick a side dish is to look at your main dish (pasta, chicken, seared tofu) and choose something different. When you’re making pasta, go for a simple healthy dish . Making steak? Go for something light. If you’re making stir-fry with rice, it must not a good idea to adjust with make a rice salad.
This also can apply to cooking process . You don’t want to push more often your oven by scheduling three dishes at once in there, or be rounding four pans on the stovetop . But sometimes you can made a dish do double-duty .
